In a story in https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/nation/684865/maria-ressa-arrest-a-travesty-of-justice/story/?just_in,
Rappler Chief Executive Officer and journalist Maria Ressa described her arrest
earlier as a "travesty (or mockery/ridicule) of justice."
Inaresto na nga, SUPER KAPAL PA NG MUKHA ni
Ressa.
HINDI KA JUDGE, Ressa, kaya WALA KANG MORAL
AT PROFESSIONAL NA KARAPATAN para ideklarang travesty of justiceang naging pagaresto
sa iyo. At WALANG BATAS na nagsasabing HINDI MAAARING ARESTUHIN KAILANMAN
anuman ang dahilan ang isang journalist.
You know damn well, Ressa, that PRESS FREEDOM
IS NOT ABSOLUTE. Every journalist WHO DESERVES TO BE CALLED A JOURNALIST,
active or retired like me, is FULLY AWARE of that.
I’m a former senior editor of a group of
publications from the early ‘80s until early ‘90s.
Unless you can show a law specifically
providing you with TOTAL AND LIFETIME immunity from arrest, SHAME on you to
claim that your apprehension is a mockery of justice.
Ressa also said: "This is something that
journalists of the Philippines now have to go through."
In your wildest dreams, or should I say
NIGHTMARES, Ressa.
HINDI IKAW ANG SIMBOLO ng lahat ng
journalists dito sa Pilipinas. Lalo na ng media. KAHIT KAILAN, HINDI nangyari
profession. MAHIYA KA SA BALAT MOI!
