PROVE OVP RELIEF, LENI!
In a story in gmanews.tv, Leni Robredo boasted
that her people from the Office of the Vice-President (OVP) has already
distributed relief goods to 10,000 families in 145 barangays in Camarines Sur who
were affected by typhoon ‘Nina.’
PROVE IT, Ms. Robredo. Immediately. “Nina’
struck Bicol on Christmas Day. So from Dec 26 until yesterday, Jan. 3, that’s
NINE DAYS. So you’re saying that on the average, you’re people covered 16
BARANGAYS AND MORE THAN 1,100 FAMILIES DAILY.
I consulted a long-time senior political consultant
of a ranking politician and his split-second reaction was ‘IMPOSSIBLE. ANO
IYUN, SUPERMA?’’ So if you will insist on it, Ms. Robredo, then there should be
no problem for you to come out with READY DETAILS like the following:
The volume and kinds of the relief goods; the
names of the barangays covered; the number of people who supposedly did the
relief operations; the number, kinds and sources of the vehicles used by your
guys; the SOURCE (S) AND AMOUNT of money so far spent; the source (s) of the
relief goods and the costs and processes of your distribution. And don’t forget,
PHYSICAL PROOF that the goods were FROM YOU or through your efforts, and NOT
FROM OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES which entrusted these to you.
I will be more than glad to come out with the
details if I will be provided with any. Relief operations experts, yojr
opinions are most welcome. 30
