By its own clarification, the Commission on
Human Rights (CHR) must be ABOLISHED, FAST.
It’s a UNIVERSAL DOCTRINE THAT EVERYBODY, and
I mean EVERY HUMAN BEING, is entitled to human rights, especially the RIGH TO
LIFE.
But in a story in inquirer.net, CHR Commissioner
Roberto Eugenio Cadiz was quoted as saying: “If it is a civilian or private
person who did the crime, such as killing or rape, it is the Philippine
National Police (PNP) who has the duty and mandate to take action. But if it is
the state or the government that violates or denies human rights, that is when
the CHR will act as the conscience of the government.”
UTAK-KRIMINAL pala ang CHR. Kung iyan ang
katwiran, puwes WALA KAYONG SILBI at dapat nang BUWAGIN! Dahil PUWEDE RIN
So, the CHR exists ONLY for the HUMAN RIGHTS OF
CRIMINALS, or suspected criminals. And NOT FOR ALL FILIPINOS! Even if their salaries and the monies they
spend in the commission come MORE from the LEGAL, HARD-EARNED INCOME of
law-abiding citizens than FROM CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES of people whose human rights
they UNCONDITIONALLY PROTECT.
For the record, I AM NOT SAYING that those being attended to or assisted by the CHR are guilty. But neither can anybody deny that the CHR ACTS FASTER THAN LIGHTNING if
a criminal or suspected law breaker is reported killed or hurt. WITHOUT PAYING
ANY ATTENTION to policemen or any other law enforcer who were killed or
wounded in the incident. Or to any piece of evidence that can prove the lawmen
only defended themselves.
High time to change the CHR’s name to COMMISSION
ON CRIMINALS’ RIGHTS. 30.
CHR in the Philippines does not serve the common good of law-abiding citizens. CHR is there to breed anti-government sentiments among the people, always with the goal of over-throwing the duly elected government by the people. Listen to them.
