Leni Robredo’s alibi on the Commission on Audit
(COA) report that the Office of the Vice-President (OVP) OVP spent only P130.693
million or 59.42 percent of its P219 million fund for assistance to the poor for
2016 is HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE!
Leni said of the P219 million, only P151
million was released to the OVP. But I talked to an auditor and an accountant and
both agreed with me that an audit is always based on the ACTUAL AMOUNT RECEIVED,
and NOT JUST THE ALLOCATION. The auditor even added that “MALAKING KALOKOHAN na
yung allocation lamang ang inaudit ng COA at hindi yung actual amount na
natanggap. Hindi magkakamali ang COA ng
ganoon.”
Until I wrote this piece, there was
no clarification form Leni’s camp on the discrepancy of the amount released.
A story in inquirer.net (http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/909943/coa-ovp-underspent-2016-budget) said of the P130 million, Leni spent P93.8 million
from July 1, after she assumed office, until Dec. 31 last year. So why is she
TAKING CREDIT for assistance before her term started?
Leni said of the P130 million, P125 million was
used for medical, burial and transportation assistance to the poor. Another P3
million went to victims of calamities. WHERE’S THE REMAINING P2 MILLION?
We have the right to know the truth, the WHOLE
TRUTH. 30
This must be investigated
