Guys, especially those from Office of the
Vice-President OVP) and the Budget department, keep a close eye on Leni’s
discretionary funds. She might be tempted to use the money to pay the P7
million or so initial deposit being required by the Presidential Electoral
Tribunal (PET) for the retrieval of ballot boxes covered by her counter protest
against Bongbong Marcos.
Remember, Leni herself has been repeatedly
saying she’s only poor and until a few months ago had to go home to Naga ONLY
BY BUS. When the PET finally decided to proceed with Bongbong’s protest against
her, Leni’s immediate and highly publicized reaction was she doesn’t have the
money for the entailing expenses. And since Bongbong filled his protest almost
9 months ago, NOT ONE GROUP of individuals or businessmen have pledged continued
support to Leni. Whether in social or national media. Anybody correct me if I’m
wrong.
Unlike pro-Bongbong groups who continue to monitor
and react to the turtle-pace and other highly questionable developments in his
protest. But here’s the catch: The OVP has a P500-MILLION budget, and Leni can
do anything she wants with it.
So to those who have or can have access to
information about fund movements in the OVP, PLEASE STAY ALERT
ROUND-THE-CLOCK. Under the law, Leni
CANNOT USE OVP FUNDS for the protest.
Please DON’T FORGET that OVP funds come from
our taxes. It’s OUR MONEY.30
