The latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showing a supposed decrease in net public satisfaction and trust ratings of President Digong Duterte by 18 points, from +66 to +48, and 15 points or from 75 to 60 is HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS.
Chief SWS competitor Pulse Asia released its own survey results today which showed a drop of only 2 points, from 82-80, in Digong’s public approval score and an 80 percent trust rating. The HUGE DIFFERENCE: 32 PERCENT in approval and 20 PERCENT in trust ratings.
Now, these are what make the SWS poll highly suspicious: The Pulse Asia survey was conducted from Sept. 24-30. SWS had its survey from Sept. 23 to 27. Meaning, MAS BAGO ANG SA PULSE ASIA. But here’s the catch, people:
Critical events during the Pulse Asia survey period included the Senate investigation into the P6.4-billion shabu shipment from China, the relief of the entire Caloocan City police force over the killings of Carl Angelo Arnaiz and Reynaldo de Guzman, commemoration of the 45th anniversary of the proclamation of martial law, and the Atio Castillo hazing death. The SWS survey was done days after rallies against supposed extra-judicial killings related to Digong’s anti-drug war and amid threats of one-man rule.
Any SWS explanation would be welcome. 30
