In a gmanews.tv story, the Liberal Party (LP) says reports that Sen. Franklin Drilon and former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas had allegedly been protectors of slain Visayan drug lord Melvin Odicta is a tactic by the Duterte administration to "run away from their own horror stories" like the smuggling of P6.4 billion worth of shabu into the country.

My take: An IDIOTIC DEFENSE of the worst kind!
In an earlier reaction, the LP said the
Duterte administration has a "habit of manufacturing
witnesses" to demonize them. Drilon’s
and Roxas’ accuser is a SELF-CONFESSED drug syndicate bagman who even
executed an affidavit, and with no known links to Digong or any member of his
family. The accuser is from the Visayas. The Dutertes are from Mindanao. The LP
DID NOT PRODUCE EVEN A SHRED OF PROOF of the supposed ‘manufactured witnesses.’
As kids nowadays say, “Isip-isip pag may
time.” 30
