In stories in various news websites, Leni
Robredo called on the people to express outrage over the deaths in anti-drug
police operations of 32 people in Bulacan and 26 more in Manila all in one day.
A TOTALLY BASELESS and SELF-SERVING call from all angles.
I’m NOT SAYING OUTRIGHT that the police
operatives are innocent of any wrong doing. But Leni DID NOT CITE OR PRESENT
even a single piece of proof that would justify public outrage.
She did not mention any detail or even a
single proof of any unlawful act by police in any of the deaths – no names of
victims, location, circumstances, supposed act (s) that merits public
condemnation, police operatives who performed illegal and outrageous acts,
NO NOTHING. ONLY HER WORDS! Just like in her
video message to a United Nations body months ago wherein Leni claimed that ALL
KILLINGS/DEATHS recorded until that time were related to the Duterte
Administration’s anti-drug war. As in ALL Not to robbery, personal grudge,
rumble or other causes. And WITHOUT any proof to support her malicious
allegation.
Why self-serving? When there’s public
outrage, UNREST AND GOVERNMENT DESTABILIZATION can’t be far behind. Ultimate
result, calls for President Digong Duterte’s ouster. The biggest winner in the
end, LENI!
