FULL-SCALE PAROJINOG TRIAL BY PUBLICITY

It’s now a full-scale trial by publicity in the police raids on the Parojinog residences in Ozamiz City, with every single possible issue being played up in media regardless of how SUSPICIOUS IT APPEARS to be. But with one big difference: Instead of the suspects being hounded in media as what normally happens, it’s the lawmen who are being made to look like the bad guys.

 (http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/regions/620770/parojinog-family-claims-obtaining-cctv-footage-showing-cops-planting-evidence/story/) wherein the Parojinog Famly claimed they have video footage which can prove that guns and other pieces of evidence allegedly found by policemen inside the house of Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog-Echavez were actually placed by the police raiders there. The Parojinogs said part of the video showed a policeman wiping a long firearm with a white cloth. In another portion, two policemen were talking and one gave a short firearm to the other. The guns, the Parojinogs said, were supposed to be among the items found in Nova’s room.

First point: Both video footages DID NOT SHOW the policemen in the act of putting the guns in Nova’s belongings. Second, it’s TOTALLY ILLOGICAL/RIDICULOUS for any policeman to clean something first before ‘planting’ it as evidence in a person’s possessions.  Third: Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but ALL POLICEMEN carry their service pistols or short firearmt only during raids but whenever they’re on duty. Fourth: No proof was cited in the video that the guns were among those presented as evidence by the police to media after the raid.  SUMAGOT NA ANG GUSTONG SUMAGOT!

This ‘planted evidence’ story followed several media appearances by a supposed survivor of the raid, whom the Parojinogs named only as Cesar. Cesar, who DIDN’T SHOW HIS FACE, said there was no gunfight as claimed by the police raiders and that Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog, his brother and several of the other victims were DELIBERATELY killed To date, however, NO CASE HAS BEEN FILED by the Parojinogs against any of the raiders based on Cesar’s allegations.

Earlier media reports quoted supposed neighbors of the Parojinogs as saying nobody among the Parojinogs and their men shot at the police raiders first. But NOBODY has COME OUT IN THE OPEN to say he or she will testify.
