The preliminary conference Bongbong’s protest
had been set for June 21. But it was postponed almost TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE, and
rescheduled for another THREE WEEKS AFTER, on July 11. Now, think about these,
boys and girls
The oral arguments for the petitions against
Martial Law in Mindanao HAVE NOT STARTED YET. Meaning, NOBODY KNOWS how fast or
how slow it will go. The SC will decide depending on the pace and other issues
related to the arguments. So WHY must the preliminary conference on Bongbong’s
protest be IMMEDIATELY POSTPONED?
The oral arguments start on June 13, MORE
THAN A WEEK before the preliminary conference. WHY couldn’t the SC WAIT for
that first and see how it will go before postponing the preliminary conference?
And WHY THREE MORE WEEKS, and not just a week or more?
For the record, I’m not belittling the importance
of the petitions against martial law in Mindanao. But Bongbong’s protest has
NOT MOVED SINCE IT WAS FILED ONE YEAR AGO. And the vice-presidency, the second
highest position in the land, is at stake.
For anybody to say that Bongbong’s protest is
of lesser importance than the petitions against Martial Law in Mindanao is nothing
less than VESTED INTEREST and JUSTICE DENIED! 30
Justice delayed is justice denied.....mismong SC ang lumalabag sa kanilang tungkulin.....
