A story in abs-cbnnews.com says
Commission on Audit chairperson Grace Pulido Tan is insisting she did not
single out Senators Jinggoy Estrada, Juan Ponce Enrile and Bong Revilla in the
agency’s ‘pork barrel’ scam report and exposes.
My take: In the reports itself, no she
did not. BUT IN MEDIA, SHE DEFINITELY DID.
Tan claimed Estrada’s admission that
the report contains hundreds of names of legislators and 82 mpm-government
organizations proves that “we have not been selective."
But I have to agree with Estrada that
until accused scam brains Janet Napoles revealed there were other legislators,
Tan NEVER NAMED ANY OTHER SENATOR OR CONGRESSMAN in her media statements on the
scam.
Anybody correct me if I’m wrong.
When it came to Estrada, Revilla and
Enrile, Tan READILY REVEALED ALL THE DETAILS COA had on their supposed
participation in the scam.
Kuntodo de press conference pa just for
that.
I just can’t recall exactly when but
when Tan was asked, on camera, about COA ‘pork barrel’ reports under the Aquino
Administration, she said something to the effect that “Nasa website naming,
tingnan n’yo na lang.”
Take note, boys and girls:
Still, in Tan’s VOCABULARY, she did not
single out Estrada, Revilla and Enrile. Meaning, she had been fair in coming out
with the COA report on the ‘pork barrel’ scam.
