One
of my tried and most reliable sources of information during my media days has
just revealed this:
PNoy
and his boys are very seriously considering THREE TACTICS to DIVERT public
attention and stop the RAPIDLY SPREADING
DISCONTENT of the people I his incompetent handling of the Sabah
crisis.
First:
PNoy will either suspend or fire a controversial and ranking government
official or head of agency who is openly despised by the people, despite
perceived or actual personal closeness to him.
Second: PNoy will personally order the prosecution or
any other tough legal action against influential and rich people from the
private sector who are known to be close to him and are currently linked to
controversial transactions or events,
Third: A bloody and senseless act (s) of violence wherein people will be killed
and wounded will be pulled off when we
least expect it, with police and other law enforcement agencies surprisingly
making arrests in record time.
In
support of any of these gimmicks, my source said PNoy and his people,
especially Cabinet secretaries, will BOMBARD us with press releases of supposed
multi-billion peso projects or plans and purported non-stop accomplishments by
the Aquino Government.
My
source said PNoy himself is aware that his supposed popularity, as claimed by
his crony survey firms Pulse Asia and Social Weather Stations (SWS), is not
enough to suppress the public’s frustration over his undeniable incompetence in
handling the Sabah crisis.
And
unless discontent on the Sabah crisis is
controlled, my source said PNoy accepted
in a recent briefing by his boys that it will take a MIRACLE for his senatorial
candidates to win in the May polls.
Kaya’t
HUWAG KAYONG PAPALOKO O PAPABOLA, mga kababayan.
WHATEVER
PNoy and his boys say, the fact remains he has NOT DONE ANYTHING to stop the
fighting in Sabah and the killing or wounding,
and baseless arrests, of our countrymen there.
Nothing
but TALK, TALK, TALK – settle the crisis through talks, aid for our detained
countrymen, etc --- but NO SPECIFICS, NO APEALS for international arbitration,
no plans for a dialogue between the Sulu sultan, Malaysia and the Philippine
Government, NO NTHING.
PURO
DALDAL, WALANG GAWA.
