COA PRESS RELEASE CHEAP POLITICAL GIMMICK

The Commission on Audit (CoA) press release on three senators and one congressman who gave funds to a supposedly non-existent non-government organization is nothing less than a CHEAP political gimmick by PNoy and his boys/.

For the crystal-clear reason that the subjects -- Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, Senators  Jinggoy Estrada and Bong Revilla and Buhay Party-List Rep. Rene Velarde are all NOT from rhe administration’s Liberal Party (LP).

The COA report came out in media at a time when LP senatorial bets were trailing behind than winning in most surveys.

The ONLY SURVEY which SUDDENLY had 9 LP senatorial bets winning is that of the Social Weather Stations (SWS(, which is publicly known as being controlled by Aquino  relatives or cronies.

And since it’s the campaign season for senatorial candidates, every actual or possible opponent must be destroyed, with whatever means, as early as possible.

If the COA press release was not politically-motivated, then the commission should have come out with its findings on all senators and congressmen SIMULTANEOUSLY.

PARA PAREHAS ang laban. Para hind lang Oposisyon kundi pati mga kakampi ng Pangulo ay mapuna rin sa kung anuman ang nakita ng COA sa paggamit nila ng kanilang pondo.

Unless the COA will say that there’s nothing wrong with the disbursement of funds by Pnoy’s party mates in the Senate and in the House of Representatives.

What makes this COA press release more obvious as a political gimmick is Malacanang’s press statement that it is ready to help, through the Department of Budget and Management, if a Senate probe will be conducted.

Even if they have not been asked by the Senate, or the House, of Representatives, for assistance. Bakit kailangang maakisali agad ang Malacanang?

This is NOT IN DEFENSE of Enrile or the others.

But in the interest of FAIR PLAY, the COA had BETTER STOP releasing partial findings until it is ready t come out with its audit report on ALL SENATORS and congressmen at the same time.

If the COA can’t do that, they had better have rock-solid proof that they’re not under orders from Malacanang or the Liberal Party either to do such a thing. 30
