SADISTA PALA SI ANGARA!

May pagka-SADISTA pala si Sen. Edgardo Angara.

Angara’s Senate Bill No. 3214 proposes a P350-million fund which accredited national political parties could use for campaigns, civic education, research and policy development, recruitment and members’ training.

IT’S NOT THE PROBLEM of us taxpayers if political parties are short of funds. WHY the hell did they put up one in the first place if they don’t have enough money?

For a FREE RIDE to new horizons of opportunities? Then, they should pay for it, NOT US.

Angara said the fund can empower candidates to truly “represent the interests of their constituents rather than remain beholden to private contributors.”

Even a high school kid is aware that P350 million will NEVER BE ENOUGH for any political party in an election. Especially if it will still be divided among other parties.

So how can Angara GUARANTEE in his bill that CANDDIATES OR POLITICAL PARTIES will not be beholden to contributors? Especially if the contributor is rich enough to donate P100 million or more for the party and its candidates?

Angara said government funding for political parties is being done in, among others, Canada, Germany, Australia, France, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Angara’s bill is a SELF-SERVING piece of legislation.

It will make our lives WORSE, NOT BETTER. The only ones who will benefit from it are politicians like him.

Tell me you’re not that NAÏVE or IGNORANT, guys!  PLEASEEEEEE! 30
