PADACA NOW WANTS TO KILL THE TRUTH!

So, after being UNTOUCHABLE despite a warrant for her arrest, Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Grace Padaca now want to KILL THE TRUTH.

In a story in The Philippine Star yeserday, Padaca asked the Sandiganbayan to dismiss the graft and malversation charges she is facing since under the law, she is now a constitutional official who can only be removed through impeachment.

If not outright dismissal, Padaca said the Sandiganbayan can suspend proceedings against her until the impeachment process is terminated.

But take note, people: Other than what the law says according to her lawyer, Padaca DID NOT CITE any evidence to justify her innocence and motion to the Sandiganbayan. It’s just like Padaca telling the Sandiganabayan: WALA KAYONG PAKIALAM SA AKIN  KUNG MAY KASALANAN AKO O WALA. KUNG MAPILIT KAYO, SAKA NA IYANG KATOTOHANAN.

This, despite her claim to innocence of the charges against her.

Sa lahat naman ng inosente, si Padaca ang AYAW MAGKAROON NG PAGKAKATAON na mapatunayan na wala siyang kasalanan.

If Padaca gets her way, NOBODY WILL EVER KNOW if she’s guilty or not, if she’s CLEAN OR DIRTY. The truth will only be WHAT SHE SAYS, what she wants to instill in the public mind, through media.

Simply put, a ONE-SIDED TRUTH!

Worst, it will be AN UNDENIABLE MESSAGE that if you have a case and wants it junked immediately, join PNoy or his Liberal Party and accept the first job offer in the Comelec or other constitutional bodies.

If she’s really CLEAN, then Padaca should boldly declare willingness to proceed with the trial of her cases so that the truth will come out. Instead of squeaking like a rat to the Sandiganbayan to ‘back off’ before she stinks and the people see and find out how dirty she is.

IIWAS, AT MATATAKOT, lamang ang isang akusado kung may dapat iwasan o KATAKUTAN.

For those who don’t know, charges of graft and malversation were filed by the Office of the Ombudsman against Padaca for her alleged involvement in the grant of a P25-million rice program without a public bidding to a private firm in 2006.

That’s P25 million of the taxes of the people of Isabela.

The Philippine Star story is the second press release of Padaca in just five days or so on her case.

GUSTO NANG IKONDISYON ANG UTAK NATIN ngayon pa ang, mga kababayan, na hindi siya dapat galawin o maalis sa kaniyang puwesto. PALOLOKO BA KAYO?

Ako hindi, promise. I’d rather wait for the Sandiganayan decision, first.

At least, I got to prove what a friend of mine from Isabela told me: Contrary to popular belief, Padaca DOES NOT DESERVE TIO BE IDOLIZED. 30
