WE MUST ALL UNITE AS ONE, NOW !

This is a call for unity and all-out love of country.

But UNLESS WE ALL UNITE AS ONE and coordinate our efforts for a 24/7 EXPOSURE of the TRUE STATE of the country and SENTIMENTS of the people to the REST OF THE WORLD, WE WON’T GET ANYWHERE.

We need to confront them head-on, in mainstream media.

Among others, Malacanang officials themselves are saying that calamity funds for victims of the Oct. 15 earthquake that devastated Bohol and Cebu are almost depleted (halos ubos na).

WITHOUT GIVING ANY BREAKDOWN of where the money went.

Even if Senate President Franklin Drilon finally signed the subpoena for suspected pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Napoles, after UNDENIABLE public outrage, she will only appear before the Senate on Nov. 7.

Board members of the Social Security System (SSS) have SHAMELESSLY SHOWERED THEMSELVES WITH MILLIONS of pesos in bonuses. And Malacanang READILY DEFENDED THEM.

But the contribution of members will be INCREASED NEXT YEAR to augment the funds of the system.

Still, the Aquino Government SHAMELESSLY tries to drown all these shit in mainstream media (nationally circulated newspapers, radio and TV stations) wit all sorts of ‘pa-pogi’ press releases and DIVERSIONARY STORIES to divert our attention to something else.

For the record, I’M NOT BELITTLING our efforts here in Facebook or anywhere else in the Net. But unless we carry on the fight into mainstream media, WALANG MANGYAYARI SA ATIN.

And believe me, WE DON’T NEED TENS OR HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS to do it like some of you may think. I am a former senior editor of a nationally-circulated newspaper so I know what I’m saying.

First: We need ONE FEDERATION or CENTRAL BODY which will bind all the other groups together. This body will determine, among others, what group will be responsible for monitoring what issue or government agency and what information to dig up or share to the rest of the federation.

Second: Apart from our individual posts, we need writers and media professionals who will plan and write press statements or press releases and facilitate the publication of these in mainstream media.

Third: We need to identify the individual fields of expertise of the members of our own groups for a more effective data gathering/research and planning of the thrust of our publicity materials.

Fourth: We need logistical support, and I mean VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS from members and our respective supporters. Considering the fact that most of us have, more or less, 1,000 members in our own groups, whatever amount will be donated will be substantial once pooled together. The administrators of the federation or the individual groups will be responsible for coming up with their own operating systems for this concern.

Consider these, ladies and gentlemen.

The fight is far from over. But the arena is not confined to Facebook or the Net alone. The Aquino Government is using mainstream media, and purported SWS and Pulse Asia surveys, against us.

WE MUST FACE THEM THERE, TOO.  WALANG MANGYAYARI SA ATIN KUNG SABUG-SABOG ANG MGA GALAW NATINI!30

PNOY GOV'T MUST ACCOUNT FOR BILLIONS IN CALAMITY FUNDS!

MalacaƱang must first ACCOUNT for the calamity and contingency funds before they augment these for whatever reason.

I’m not accusing anyone of lying.

But we’re talking of BILLIONS OF PESOS here, BILLIONS of our taxes and fees we pay to this government, so WE HAVE ALL THE RIGHT to knoo where our money went.

I’m not a government employee but I know for a fact that EVERY GOVERNMENT EXPENDITURE must be FULLY DOCUMENTED, down to the last centavo.

Kaya kung WALANG ANOMALYA, WALANG DAPAT ITAGO, ang Malacanang, WALANG MAGIGING PROBLEMA para mailabas agad nila ang LAHAT NG PAPELES.

Pero kung HINDI AGAD MAILALABAS ng Malacanang, lalo na ng Department of Budget and Management at Department of Social Welfare and Development, nasa atin ang LAHAT NG DAHILAN para MAGDUDA, at MATAKOT.

And before any PNoy fanatic accuses me of empty suspicions or fears, consider this:

A report in the manilastandardtoday.com quoted Budget Secretary Florencio Abad as saying: “For typhoon Pablo alone, we have to spend P11 billion while our calamity fund is only P7.5 billion.”

Now, anybody correct me if I’m wrong. Up to now, I HAVE NOT HEARD of or READ ANYTHING about these basic needs of ‘Pablo’s victims:

Widespread repair of construction of new homes, massive educational assistance like tuition and school supplies for kids, massive repair or construction of damaged or destroyed school buildings, financial assistance for the victims and government subsidy for their medical treatment.

And don’t forget, people, the government has been CONSISTENT in stuffing relief packs ONLY with, among others, a few small sardine cans, rice, noodles and  coffee in sachets

To whoever will take Abad’s word hook, line and sinker and would not ask even for an iota of proof, YOU NEED TO SEE YOUR PSYCHIATRIST. At once. 30

KAPAL NG MUKHA TO THE MAX NI PNOY!

Look at the EXTREME INHUMANITY OF PNOY!

His government will spend a total of P12 million for his ongoing TWO-DAY state visit  to South Korea, according to Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa, Jr.

But as he and his 60-member delegation do so:

Residents of Maribojoc town in Bohol are complaining of miserable government presence, with two sacks, each containing 20 packs of canned goods and rice, for 600 VICTIMS of Tuesday’s earthquake.

A total of 40 packs of canned goods for 600 victims, most of whom had been staying in waiting sheds and makeshift tents since the earthquake, and P12 MILLION for 60 people.

KAPAL NG MUKHA TO THE MAX.

And you know what makes it SICKENING? Part of the P12 million came from the TAXES PAID by some, if not all, of the quake victims.

Maribojoc residents have to walk for at least one kilometer to get to the nearest spring for water.

In Loon town in Bohol,, at least 600 evacuees in the Our Lady of Light Parish Church in Barangay Napu have been eating rice and noodles since Tuesday.

Tens of thousands of survivors remain cramped at government-run shelters in public buildings in Bohol. Surgeons were set to operate on open-air operating tables in a hospital carpark in Loon

We can just imagine HOW MUCH FOOD, WATER, MEDICINES and other emergency needs can P12 million buy for the tens of thousands of victims of the quake.

Than to PNoy and his 60-member delegation who went to South Korea FOR TALKS on, according to Ochoa, politics, defense, labor, trade and development assistance.

Just TALKS, NO IMMEDIATE PHYSICAL BENEFIT ESPECIALLY to the quake victims.

But consider these, people:

That state visit could have been RESET, considering the MASSIVE DEVASTATION brought about  by Tuesday’s quake. The South Korean president would have surely understood.

NAPOLES SPECIAL TREATMENT SURPASSES DECENCY, SHAME!

The SUPER SPECIAL TREATMENT being extended to Janet Lim Napoles has just SURPASSED ALL LEVELS OF DECENCY and SHAME!

In case you missed it, abs-cbnnews.com reported last Friday that Napoles has been quietly selling her properties, including her vehicles. And Napoles’ camp HAS NOT DENIED THIS.

But until I started writing this blog, there was NO REPORT of anyone in government doing anything to stop the sale, or at least have it investigated or QUESTION Napoles.

As in NOTHING. As if Justice Sec. Leila de Lima, Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales and Malacanang officials have suddenly TURNED DEAF AND BLIND and seemingly are NOT AWARE of the story.

Remember, guys, Napoles’ multi-million properties may have possibly come from the HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OR BILLIONS of pesos in pork barrel funds received by bogus non-government organizations linked to her.

Millions or billions which came from OUR TAXES, OUR HARD-EARNED MONEY. And the Aquino Government is CONVENIENTLY IGNORING this.

RIGHT BEFORE OUR VERY EYES.

Take note that in filing plunder charges against 20 or so people over the supposed misuse of the Malampaya Fund, De Lima and Morales even HELD A PRESS CONFERENCE, with the Justice secretary detailing the supposed details of the raps before television cameras

SHAMELESS DOUBLE STANDARD at the very least, BARBARIC MOCKERY OF FAIR PLAY at the worst just to keep Napoles UNTOUCHED and OUT OF THE PUBLIC EYE as much as possible.

Keep in mind, ladies and gentlemen, that UP TO NOW NOBODY and NO GOVERNMENT AGENCY has QUESTIONED Napoles, or has summoned her for investigation since her alleged CRIMINAL EMPIRE was exposed.

Plunder charges have been filed against Napoles, yes.

But instead of fast-tracking the investigation, like what they do to cases of PNoy’s political foes, Morales has declared outright that it will take her office a year to do so.

And DON’T FORGET Morales’ OUTRIGHT REFUSAL to have Napoles appear in a Senate hearing for questioning, purportedly because it might expose Napoles to public ridicule or something to that effect.

But Morales DID NOT DO OR SAY ANYTHING when De Lima read the details of the plunder charges over the alleged misuse of the Malampaya Fund, exposing the accused to the public ridicule she wants to protect Napoles from.

I’m NOT passing judgment on anybody.

All I’m saying is the Aquino Government has practically thrown decency and shame to the wind to CONTINUE PROVIDING SUPER DUPER SPECIAL TREATMENT to Napoles.

As to why, your guess is as good as mine. 30

HERE'S WHAT JINGGOY ESTRADA SHOULD DO NEXT!

Here’s what Sen. Jinggoy Estrada should do next following his privilege speech in the Senate investigation into the pork barrel scam:

First and foremost, on the supposed letter from then Senate Finance Committee Chairman Franklin Drilon informing those who had voted for the conviction of former Chief Justice Renato Corona of an additional P50-million fund:

Estrada should distribute copies of the supposed letter from Drilon to media, the Internet and even personal friends.

Estrada should reveal the details and circumstances behind the supposed letter – when was it given, where, what time, by whom and how. He should narrate what happened next when he rejected the P50 million.

For example, did Drilon say anything and does he know who were his colleagues who accepted the P50 million.,

If he can, Estrada should ask for a Senate probe of where the money came from,

He should also dare those who accepted the P50 million to explain where did the money go to and to come out with documentary proof that it had been spent LEGALLY or LEGITIMATELY.

As expected, Drilon and Budget Sec. Butch Abad have denied bribing the senators who convicted Corona with the P50 million. So the question is WHY was the money (Malacanang mouthpieces can call it whatever they like) GIVEN ONLY TO THOSE WHO CONVICTED CORONA?

Estrada said the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee did not investigate P1.2-billion in questionable transactions of some local government units funded by Senators Alan Peter Cayetano and Miriam Defensor-Santiago and former Senators Francis Pangilinan and Manny Villar from their pork barrel.

Estrada should identify these local government units and cite details of these transactions.

He should also FORMALLY ask committee chair Sen. Teofisto Guingona to explain why the P1.2-billion questionable transactions were not, or has not been probed, by the panel.

Lastly, Estrada should pound on Commission on Audit chair Grace Tan to COME OUT IN MEDIA with PARTIAL OR FULL audit reports on the pork barrel funds since PNoy became president.

Reports which will include pork barrel disbursements by ALLIES OF PNOY.

For the simple reason that PNoy’s allies are NOT EXEMPTED from graft corruption. 30

DON'T EXPECT NAPOLES TO TALK!

More than ever, DON'T EXPECT Janet Napoles to talk about the pork barrel scam, guys!

Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales has just shielded Napoles, and for that matter the whole truth about the scam, from the people.

How? Morales has advised the Senate against inviting Napoles to the next hearing of the blue ribbon committee.

Therefore, unanswered questions or details lacking in the Senate Blue Ribbon Committe's  probe of the scam which only Napoles could provide would be left HANGING IN THE AIR, INDEFINITELY.

Or until Morales allows the disclosure of these to the public, which only GOD KNOWS WHEN.

Morales said if Napoles testifies, despite the fact that she has publicly and consistently claimed that she is not involved in any pork barrel transaction, the objective of the Senate in summoning her would be an exercise in futility.

So for Morales, just because Napoles is claiming innocence in the pork barrel scam, it would be useless for the Senate to investigate her.

Therefore, Morales is giving MORE WEIGHT TO NAPOLES’ WORD than to the effort of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee to come up with the COMPLETE PICTURE of the scam.

Which  CANNOT BE COMPLETED without Napoles’ version of the scam.

Morales said summoning Napoles would not produce “complete, nay reliable information that legislation intends to affect or change.”

Morales is NOT A MEMBER of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee. She is NOT A SENATOR, or a congresswoman. So she has NO PROFESSIONAL and MORAL RIGHT to prejudge how the committee will find or evaluate Napoles’ testimony in relation to their investigation.

IT’S THE COMMITTEE WHO WILL JUDGE whether or not Napoles’ testimony will be complete, reliable and useful in aid of legislation. NOT MORALES.

If Morales, or her supporters, will say she knows the law being a retired Supreme Court justice, the issue at hand is NOT A QUESTION OF LAW, but a question of truth as basis in crafting a better law.

Besides, the Supreme Court DOES NOT WRITE THE LAW.  It would be tragic, to say the least, if Morales has forgotten this.

Morales also said a testimony by Napoles “would, among other things, adversely affect public interest, prejudice the safety of witnesses or the disposition of cases against her and/or her co-respondents pending before this office, or unduly expose them to ridicule or public censure.

Public interest has ALREADY BEEN ADVERSELY AFFECTED by the billions of pesos stolen through the pork barrel scam. Keeping Napoles quiet would not correct these adversities.

Prejudice the safety of witnesses?

Morales should tell that to De Lima, who has been PARADING THE WITNESSES against Napoles all over town, especially in media, long before she was charged with plunder.

Morales should also EXPLAIN why she never raised any objection to De Lima’s publicity train. 30

CONSPIRACY TO KILL NAPOLES STORY EMERGING!

A conspiracy to KILL the Napoles case in media, and before the public eye, is fast shaping up.

Justice Sec. Leila de Lima refused to allow the pork barrel scam whistleblowers to testify in a Senate hearing this morning, saying she will seek the opinion of the Office of the Ombudsman first before she allows the whistleblowers to testify again.

Like Senate President Franklin Drilon who had refused to approve a subpoena for Janet Napoles, De Lima cited the Ombudsman’s rules on publicity as basis for her refusal.

Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales now has ABSOLUTE CONTROL on Napoles and the whistleblowers, and whatever updates will there be on the case, if any.

So if Morales refuses to allow Napoles and the whistleblowers to testify in the Senate, or be interviewed anywhere else, then COMPLETE SILENCE will fall on all both sides.
FOR AS LONG as Morales wants to.

Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but neither can anybody force Morales to give regular updates on Napoles and the plunder case she’s facing for the scam.

If there will be nothing new, then media will have nothing to report on or come out with.
Napoles will VANISH before the PUBLIC EYE.  The possibility that the public interest in Napoles and her alleged role in the pork barrel scam will diminish will DRAMATICALLY INCREASE.

For those who missed it, I cited these points in my preceding blog on Sen. Drilon:
The Ombudsman probe is for alleged illegal acts related to the scam. The Senate investigation is in aid of legislation. Anyway you look at it, these are TWO ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PURPOSES.

So why must a THOROUGH and TOTALLY COMPREHENSIVE (hopefully) Senate probe be DEPENDENT on the Ombudsman?

Especially considering the fact that the Ombudsman WILL NOT DECIDE on the plunder case against Napoles BASED ON WHAT will be declared in a Senate hearing.

But on the evidence submitted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Let me add that like what we have all seen, De Lima has never objected to the left and right interviews given \by the whistleblowers to newspapers and radio/ and TV stations.

The Ombudsman is NOT a court of law, and De Lima is NOT the Ombudsman either,.

Neither is the Ombudsman the SOLE GAUGE OF TRUTH on the plunder case Napoles and several others are facing. 30

DRILON REFUSAL TO OKAY NAPOLES SUBPOENA QUESTIONABLE!

A story in inquirer.net says Senate President Franklin Drilon has left it to the Ombudsman to decide whether or not Janet Lim Napoles could testify at the blue ribbon committee’s inquiry into the P10-billion pork barrel scam, for which she is facing plunder charges.

Drilon said the Senate must respect the jurisdiction of the Office of the Ombudsman over the case and its rules, particularly that which says “publicity is to be avoided or prohibited wherein her judgment can prejudice the case.”

Especially considering the fact that the Ombudsman WILL NOT DECIDE on the plunder case against Napoles BASED ON WHAT SHE’LL SAY in a Senate hearing.

But on the evidence submitted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Unless, there is a law or rule which says a Senate testimony has or should have more evidentiary value for the Ombudsman, to the point of affecting her judgment on a case, than documentary and other physical evidence.

Drilon said under Rule 5 of the Ombudsman’s Rules of Procedure which says pending resolution, decision or action on a complaint, grievance or request for action, “no publicity shall be made of matters which may adversely affect national security or public interest, prejudice the safety of witnesses or the disposition of the case, or unduly expose persons complained against to ridicule or public censure.”

NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW if what Napoles will say in a Senate hearing will adversely affect national security or public interest UNLESS SHE’S ALLOWED TO TALK.

If  the Ombudsman will not allow Napoles to testify in a Senate hearing on the basis of Rule 5, it will be PREMATURE at the very least and SUSPICIOUS at the worst.

Simply because it will imply that they know in advance what Napoles will say, when it’s the SENATORS WHO WILL QUESTION HER in the hearing and NOT ANYONE from the Ombudsman.

If Napoles would be barred from attending the Senate hearing on Thursday, believe me guys, ONLY GOD WOULD KNOW when she’ll talk.

Pray hard, people, that we’re not headed for a SUPPRESSION of the TRUTH on the pork barrel scam, which only Napoles can provide or be extracted from her.30
