I
hate to say this but the chances of justice for the SAF 44 is getting DIMMER,
AND DIMMER. Personally, I will not be
surprised if eventually, NONE of the alleged KILLERS will be convicted, or even
be found and arrested.
The
latest development is Justice Sec. Leila de Lima now says cases against the
suspected killers will be filed next month. That will be FIVE MONTHS after her
first promise to do so last April, and EIGHT LONG MONTHS after the SLAUGHTER of
the SAF 44 in Mamasapano last Jan. 25. So think about this, people:
The
killers will have a total of EIGHT LONG MONTHS to hide or be hidden by their
protectors, more than enough time to reach and build a hideout even at the
North and South poles. The killers and their protectors will have eight long
months to DESTROY WHATEVER EVIDENCE they have, or they can have access to, like
the scene of the massacre. Let’s not forget, guys, that a lot of the SAF 44’s
firearms and personal belongings were NEVER RETURNED by the MILF. And eight
months will be more than enough for the killers to TERRORIZE INTO SILENCE, IF
NOT KILL, any witness.
Now,
if there will be NO SUSPECTS, NO WITNESSES AND NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE, whatever
charges will be filed against the killers will be dismissed faster than
lightning. If the charges are dismissed, then the killers will be set free. And
for those who don’t know, under the law they can’t be charged again for the
same offense. That will be double jeopardy.
And
the SAF 44 will get the height of DISRESPECT and DISHONOR for their heroism,
their FEARLESS, SELFLESS sacrifice of their lives to spare us, their innocent
countrymen, from the bombs that international terrorist Marwan would have made
had they not killed him.
Nothing
would be more humiliating to heroism. I would be more than happy if my
fears will be proven wrong when the time comes.
