García-Sayán, President Duterte's remarks against OUSTED Chief Justice Maria
Lourdes Sereno constitute a threat to the judiciary.
My
take: For a UN guy, Sayan is NOT ONLY STUPID BUT A LIAR AND SHAMELESSLY BIASED.
First:
I’m not a lawyer but I will dare say that there’s NO PHILIPPINE LAW which says
the Chief Justice is also the Judiciary personified. Sereno may have been head
of the Judiciary BUT SHE WAS NOT THE JUDICIARY ALL ROLLED into one. I’m betting
not just one but THREE YEARS of my salary.
Second:
Undeniably, Sayan is STUPID ENOUGH not to know that under our laws, the
Judiciary is a CO-EQUAL branch of government of the Executive which the
President heads. Therefore, COMMON SENSE alone will show that Duterte CANNOT
ORDER the Supreme Court to do anything. And it’s ON RECORD that President
Duterte SPECIFICALLY REFERRED ONLY to Sereno in saying he was now her enemy.
Not to all the members of the Judiciary.
Third:
Sayan said Seren’s ouster has sent a chilling message to the country's judges. Says who? Come out with names and
locations/salas of those supposed judges and their own statements. Now. If you
can’t produce any, BE CIVIL AND MAN ENOUGH TO ADMIT THAT YOU HAD LIED.
YOU’RE
NOT a judge here in our country. Neither are you the spokesman or
representative of all our judges. So you have NO MORAL, PROFESSIONAL, and LEGAL
RIGHT to speak for or in behalf of any of them. Especially if what you’ll say
is a BRAINLESS assumption worthy ONLY OF THE RUMOR MILL.
If
you have any DECENCY LEFT IN YOU, Sayan, SHUT UP AND LEAVE OUR COUNTRY ALONE.
Spare us form your STUPIDITY, BIAS AND LIES!
