Following the Supreme Court decision to keep
her in jail and deny her bid to recall the arrest warrant against her Leila de
Lima’s comrades are again claiming the LIES that she is being silenced and
persecuted for being a fierce critic of President Digong Duterte.
So that NOBODY else can be FOOLED ny the ‘yellows,’
let’s be VERY CLEAR, AND TRUTHFUL:
De Lima can still CRITICIZE, INSULT OR SAY
ANYTNING against Digong ANYTIME SHE LIKES, even from jail! She has NOT, and has
NEVER BEEN SUED FOR LIBEL OR ORAL DEFAMATION by Digong. Whatever she says against
Digong, WITH OR WITHOUT BASIS, is still being PRINTED OR PUBLISHED REGULARLY WITH
MAXIMUM PROMINENCE by newspapers and broadcast media firms perceived as her
supporters. Both in national and social media. And NONE of these newspapers and
broadcast firms HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN OR SUED by Digong for libel. Neither have
they complained of being harassed or threatened with anything specifically for
coming out with De Lima’s press statements. Most of all, De Lima has NEVER
COMPLAINED OF ANY ATTEMPT on her life in jail.
Kaya SAGARANG KASINUNGALINGAN AT PANLOLOKO sa
sambayanan para sabihin NINUMAN na gusto lamang patahimikin si De Lima sa
pagbanat kaya Digong kaya siya ikinulong.
Political persecution? It’s on record that;
De Lima WAS INVITED SEVERAL TIMES by both the
House of Representatives and the Department of Justice (DOJ) in hearings on her
alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade at the New Bilibid Prisons in
Muntinlupa for chances to give her side. Not just once, several times. But SHE
NEVER APPEARED. If I remember correctly, her lawyers appeared only once or
twice at the DOJ but not really to air her defense. Anybody correct me if I’m
wrong. And a warrant for her arrest was issued only after she and government
lawyers have been given the opportunity to submit arguments and other papers. So
WHERE is the political persecution?
