There is a big possibility that the P52
million cash found in an abandoned machine gun nest of the Maute terrorist
group in Marawi City could be part of still UNACCOUNTED FOR FUNDS for victims
of super typhoon ‘Yolanda,’ or other missing government monies like the
Malampaya fund.
Military and government officials had better
be TOTALLY TRANSPARENT in EVERY DEVELOPMENT on their probe AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Think about these guys:
‘Yolanda’ struck on Nov. 8, 2013. BILLIONS in
donations from various areas nationwide and national government funding
(Congress alone allocated P25 BILLION), as well as STILL FULLY UNACCOUNTED FOR
donations in cash and kind from foreign governments and communities almost
immediately began pouring in for the victims. Money continued coming until
sometime in 2015. Anybody correct me if I’m wrong.
Now, a story in abs-cbnnews,com quoted Armed
Forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Restituto Padilla as saying that markings on the
P52 million indicate that the money was withdrawn from various banks FROM 2014
TO 2016. Meaning, the withdrawals were
DONE LOCALLY, BY A FILIPINO. And again,
there is NO DETAILED BREAKDOWN of where the ‘Yolanda’ funds were spent UP TO
NOW.
A long-time reader and personal friend just
informed me that in the Moslem culture, they prefer to keep money at home than in
banks. But if the cash was legitimately accumulated by the owner of the house,
IT WOULD NOT HAVE HAD BANK MARKINGS. Considering the ongoing killings and
shootings that time, the house owner would have taken the cash or as much as
he/she could before fleeing. ONLY AN INSANE PERSOIN would leave P52 million in
cash BEHIND in times of terroristic acts.
Most of all, the Maute terrorists DID NOT GO
ON THEIR DEVILISH RAMPAGE in Marawi City for FREE. And if anybody will say that the P52 million
belonged to the terrorists, I don’t think they’re IDIOTS TO THE MAX to carry
P52 million in cash with them while they were killing people and shooting in
out with police and soldiers.
The Marawi crisis now appears to be 1,000
tmes more evil than the work of the devil. 30
