Bongbong Marcos protest lead Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa and Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) chair Chief Justice
Maria Lourdes Sereno had better set the preliminary conference for Bongbong
Marcos’ protest against Leni Robredo really fast. Biongbong and Leni have been
directed to deposit millions with the PET anyway for the retrieval of ballot
boxes and other paraphernalia covered by their protests against each other.
Caguioa is the one who should set the date
for the preliminary conference subject to Sereno’s approval. If they will still
not schedule a preliminary conference, the people will have all the right to accuse
them of bias in favor of Leni. They should at least have the decency to
inhibit. Sereno should name another lead justice for the case. Don’t forget,
people, Sereno and Caguioa are appointees of Noynoy Aquino, who PUBLICLY
DECLARED that he will not allow Bongbong to win.
It’s been more than eight months since
Bongbong filed his protest against Leni. The last pleading for the protest was
filed last September. Under PET rules, a preliminary conference should have
been scheduled right after that. But that has not been the case. And Caguioa
HAS NOT SAID A WORD o what’s taking him so long to set a preliminary conference.
Neither has Sereno.
One of our readers informed me that when
Noynoy bet Mar Roxas filed a protest against winning vice presidential bet
Jejomar Binay, a preliminary conference
was conducted by the PET within just three months. If it can be done with
Binay, why not with Bongbong?
Remember, guys, we the people are the BIGGEST
LOSERS in the delay on Bongbong’s protest against Leni. It’s OUR TAXES, OUR
MONEY which Leni continues to spend for her salary and other perks, especially
her seemingly ENDLESS TRAVELS both here and abroad, and for expenses at the
Office of the Vice President. WE DON’T DESERVE THIS, INDEFINITELY. 30
Charge these two justices for obstruction of justice, abuse of power, bias no respect to judicial system

DeleteThese 2 justices must be impeach...its very obvious ..people are not dat stupid not to understand wat is going on ...they are doing there best to delay the recount....and by the way like wat sen lacson said why bbm's protest costs too much?

ReplyDeletethese two justices are the real enemies of democracy...the nation is at stake and they just dilly dally with their duties...if something happens to duterte, so sure that civil war will erupt...settling ASAP the electoral protests for the vice-presidency will bring stability to our nation....self-vested interest groups will surely be dead on their tracks...
