13 SIGNS YOUR BOYFRIEND IS A USER!

Here are 13 tell-tale signs that your boyfriend s an opportunist or a user:

It’s you who spends MOST OF THE TIME, IF NOT ALWAYS, on your dates.

He asks, if not demands, that you treat him to classy and expensive restaurants or bars, and doesn’t pledge to share even a peso for the bill.

When more often than not, he asks you to pay for what he likes, even though he doesn’t need it, at the mall or at the supermarket.

In all of these three signs, he throws tantrums or loses his cool whenever you turn him down. Neither does he show or express any shame.

Whenever you say you have no money, the guy would rather stay home or go somewhere else than be with you. He comes up with all kinds of reasons just to avoid you.

He insists on meeting your rich or influential friends for no clear reason.

He forces himself into accompanying you as often as possible to parties or events wherein you’ll be with very important people, even without you asking him to.

Once you’re in the event, he sees to it that you’ll find a way to introduce him to them.

He demands, and not just requests, for your help, financial or whatever, to ease or solve the problems of his family members and loved ones.

The guy doesn’t express or show any ambition in life. He has no plans on how to earn more or on how to succeed, at work on his own.

HE DOESN’T HAVE ANY INTEREST at all on how to start even s small-scale business to be financially independent.

HE NEVER CONSULTS you on what can he do to at least uplift the quality of his personal life and ease your burden in looking after his needs and welfare.

Once you see any of these signs, break up with him as soon as possible. For your boyfriend, you’re not his sweetheart. You’re his piggy bank. 30

WHY I AGREE WITH PNOY ON THIS ONE!

For once, I agree with PNoy.

In a story in journal.com.ph, PNoy called on the people to choose wisely among the candidates in next year’s elections.

Choose wisely, indeed.

First and foremost, look for candidates for all elective posts with VISIBLE, PHYSICAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS. Candidates who have had infrastructure projects built, or have been maintaining or have launched pro-poor programs, WITH TANGIBLE RESULTS.

And not candidates who HAD MADE ALL KINDS OF PROMISES or had BOASTED OF ALL SORTS OF PLANS to improve the quality of your lives, but HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING since the time they won.

For reelectionist senators and congressmen, find out how many bills, if any, has the candidate PRINCIPALLY AUTHORED. It’s the MAIN JOB of a senator congressman.

I repeat, principally authored, not just co-authored. YUNG NAGTRABAHO, HINDI YUNG NAKIKISAKAY LANG sa trabaho ng iba.

For newcomers, as I had written in an earlier blog, take a close look at the qualifications and credentials or track record for the position aspired for.

Second: Choose candidates with unquestionable moral character and DELICADEZA.

Check out if the candidate has a PENDING CASE, CRIMINAL OR ADMINISTRATIVE, before any government agency or prosecutor’s office or court. If there’s any, find out the status.

Unless the candidate has been cleared or acquitted, he or she has NO MORAL RIGHT to run for public office. If the candidate insists, he or she has no delicadeza and does not deserve your vote.

And to top all these, remember:

TANDAAN NINYO!

A CLOSE LOOK AT 2012

Allow me to suggest a way of looking at 2012 from a wider and truly encompassing point of view:

PNoy’s boys boast that 2012 is the best year so far for the Philippines.

Did the quality of life improve? Did wages rise? Did the prices of electricity, oil products and basic commodities and necessities like food drop? Did tuition and other costs of education go down?

PNoy’s boys have been trumpetting for days that the economy is at an all-time high.

Did you earn enough for your needs? Was it easier than before to find a job, or a second or third job to augment your income? How many, if any, new businesses do you know which opened up branches this year and provided jobs?

A supposedly dramatic increase in the number and volume of business of call centers and supposedly record remittances by overseas Filipino workers (OFW) are among the biggest factors behind the economic boom.

But as I had written in an earlier blog, OFWs are PAID by their FOREIGN EMPLOYERS, NOT BY BUSINESSES here in the Philippines. So if ever they earned more than before, It’s because of the ECONOMIES of the countries they’re working in.

AND NOT because of the Philippine economy.

As to call centers, I don’t have figures but I’m aware of the fact that they CATER MORE, if not totally, TO FOREIGN CLIENTS. So the money their clients spend comes from the economy of their home countries, NOT OF OURS!

Was our way of life in 2012 more convenient than before?

How many, if any, new roads, bridges railways or piers or similar infrastructure do you know or have heard of? WAS EVEN ONE BUILT, or IN NEAR COMPLETION until the year ends tomorrow at midnight?

Personally, I don’t know of any. Anybody correct me if I’m wrong.

Did peace and order improve as far as you know?  Do you feel safer now than before, in your home or out on the road or the streets, especially late at night?

PNoy and his boys have been tirelessly boasting that they’re against corruption.

Is it easier to transact now in government agencies, especially in the Bureau of Customs and Bureau of Internal Revenue? As far as you’re concerned, has bribery been removed, or even reduced considerably?

The warrant of arrest on Grace Padaca WAS NOT SERVED for some six months. When it was, PNoy himself paid for her bail, and readily declared her as INNOCENT as far as he’s concerned.

But now, Malacanang is DESPERATELY trying to remove Cebu Gov. Gwen Garcia from office on the strength of a suspension order issued by the Office of the Preesident.

Even though to date, NO ONE HAS BELIED OR PROVEN WRONG, Garcia’s  defense that her suspension had violated the Local Government Code and Administrative Order No. 23.

There are a lot more issues, boys and girls. But think about the ones I had cited here. Then, judge the year 2012, and PNoy’s government, for yourselves. 30

DON'T EXPECT TRANSPARENCY FROM PNOY IN 2013!

DON’T EXPECT any transparency from Pnoy’s government in 2013.

If ever there’s any, don’t be surprised if the details of any controversial issue are VERY, VERY LIMITED and only in pursuit of their interests or in support of their allegations or accusations.

Reason: The Freedom of Information (FOI) Bill IS NOT AMONG THE PRIORITIES of Pnoy’s Government for next year.

The bill is ready for plenary debates at the House of Representatives following the public information committee’s approval of its report on the measure early this month.

But Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte said the Aquino administration would want to see first how the deliberations will go.

Valte said: “We would like to see the debates first because there are stakeholders that do raise other concerns that have not been extensively discussed before.”

But take note, people:

The first, and foremost, justification for the FOI Bill is TOTAL TRANSPARENCY in government transactions and actions, as a SAFEGUARD AGAINST CORRUPTION.

As Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago once said, WAAAH!

Is Pnoy and his boys trying to hide something?  PREVENTING AND FIGHTING CORRUPTION is not a priority, is NOT THAT IMPORTANT.

But for the Reproductiive Health Bill, PNoy HIMSELF certified the bill as urgent to FAST TRACK its approval by the Senate and the House of Representatives. Please check out one of our earlier blogs, GRAFT AND CORRUPTION THROUGH RH LAW.

Another thing, Valte DID NOT CITE EVEN ONE of the supposed other concerns. She did not name even one of the supposed stakeholders either.

Meaning, if the debates won’t suit their wishes, PNoy’s government won’t do anything to expedite the passage of the FOI Bill, and give us ordinary mortals a weapon against corruption and fraud.

DAANG MATUWID? Tell that to the Marines, both Philippine and US.

                                                            ***
As suggested by a greater number of our friends, I will resume my old practice of including comments at the end of every blog starting in our next piece. My endless thanks for your continued support, boys and girls, and advanced Happy New Year, everyone. God  Bless!

                                                          30

GRAFT AND CORRUPTION THROUGH RH LAW!

In case you missed it, I  had pointed out in an earlier blog that a staggering P21 BILLION has been allocated by PNoy’s government for reproductive health (RH).

Now, since PNoy has signed the RH bill into law, allow me to repost excerpts, and some additions, from one of our previous blogs on opportunities for GRAFT AND CORRUPTION in the implementation of the measure.

Once the P21 billion is spent, what happens next? Will there be a ceiling or cap for the spending? Or will it be an ETERNAL EXPENDITURE by the government? In which case, will any public health program or service be SACRIFICED?

If yes, WHAT and WHY?

WHO are the prospective SUPPLIERS of the contraceptives and other items on which the P21 BILLION would be spent?

Do they have LINKS, and I mean any at all, TO PNOY and HIS SISTERS OR RELATIVES,  to any Malacanang or government official or to any senator or congressman/woman who actively supported the passage of the bill?

And what I mean by any link whatsoever is whether as classmates, personal friends, former employers or bosses or co-workers, former teachers or professors or boyfriends/girlfriends, or distant relatives even to the 5th or 6th  degree or relatives of in-laws  of any or all of the above.

By this time, business proposals have been surely submitted by the prospective suppliers, or bidders. The people should immediately know who these businessmen are.

For all we know, they are all known cronies or friends of the Aquino Government.

The DoH should reveal the details (especially the prices of the goods), the terms and conditions, officials and personnel who will run the program and be accountable for everything about it, including the funds and safety nets against graft and corruption and theft of the money.

So that we, the people, will know who to run after in case something questionable or anomalous comes up in the implementation of the RH law.

And last, but definitely not the least, the DoH should immediately publicize the schedule or lineup of to whom or where will the RH law and its freebies will be implemented, first.

We must have an assurance that prioritization will be based on the gravity of the need of the area and beneficiaries, and NOT ON WHETHER OR NOT THEY ARE PRO OR ANTI-PNOY.

Especially considering the fact that the 2013 elections ARE FAST APPROACHING, and the contraceptives and other items to be used in the program can be VERY GOD CAMPAIGN MATERIALS BY GOVERNMENT-SUPPORTED CANDIDATES/

In case RH law items are used by government supported candidates, what will bappen to the candidate? . This is not a long shot, boys and girls. PNoy’s senatorial bets, for one, are LOSING to opposition candidates in various polls.

Don’t take this lightly, guys. We’re talking about P21 BILLION HERE. OUR HARD-EARNED TAXES and payments for government services. OUR MONEY.30

THERE WILL BE MORE GWEN GARCIAS

If Cebu Gov. Gwen Garcia loses in her fight over her questionable suspension, expect more Opposition members to suffer the same fate.

And if that happens, we had better ERASE DEMOCRACY from our vocabularies and just retain DICTATORSHIP or any other similar political terminology.

For that is the REAL issue in the Garcia case.

Garcia says her suspension is in violation of the Local Government Code and Administrative Order No.23, which both provide a 30-day deadline for the Office of the President (OP) to render a decision on her case.

The OP took 400 plus days and more than100 days, respectively, under the Code and the Order.

But Malacanang is ARROGANTLY IGNORING this issue by NOT EXPLAINING in any manner whatsoever. NOT A SINGLE WORD on what makes it legal despite their non-compliance to the deadline.

Instead, they ABUSE what we call the Reinforcement Theory in mass communications by ENDLESSLY REPEATING that Garcia should accept her suspension because it was the Office of the President which had ordered it.

Until the public mind is conditioned to accepting it as righteous, regardless of its QUESTIONABLE LEGALITY.

I’m not prejudging the Garcia case. Let that be for the record.  If Malacanang can justify its legality without brainwashing the people, I will be among the first to respect it.

But until then, to blindly agree with Malacanang is tantamount to DISREGARDING THE LAW.
If they get away with Gwen, they can DO IT TO ANYBODY.

That includes YOU AND ME. The choice is ours.30

BIG GARCIA HEADACHE COMING UP FOR PNOY!

A BIG HEADACHE on the Gwen Garcia case is shaping up for Malacanang.

A story in the Manila Standard Today website says according to a survey by the newspaper Cebu Daily News, a growing number of residents of Metro Cebu believe Malacanang’s suspension of Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia is a clear power grab.

The story said respondents who had found the suspension justified went down from 61.49 percent to 56.43 percent, while those who see it as a power grab increased from 34.95 percent to 40.98 percent.

Take note, guys:

A SPECIFIC NEWSPAPER laid claim to the survey. As far as I know, Cebu Daily News is one of the biggest newspapers in Cebu.

Being a former senior editor of a nationally-circulated group of newspapers myself, let me tell you guys that no newspaper will openly admit having dome something if it actually did not.

Especially if it does not have any proof of the undertaking.

Some may say the Cebu Daily News survey was paid for by Garcia or her supporters and is nothing more than a self-serving press release.

Consider these:

The survey comes at a time when police have removed the barricade around the capitol and reduced their number from 200 to around 50.

The survey DOES NOT OVERWHELMING POPULAR SUPPORT for Garcia on her suspension, which would have been the normal thing to do.  It only reflects a growing skepticism or doubt on the legality of the action by Malacanang.

At a time when PNoy or anyone of his spokespersons, and allies, continue to refuse to answer Garcia’s defense that her suspension was in violation of the Local Government Code and Administrative Order No. 23.

And simply insist on the lawfulness of Garcia’s suspension in their endless press statements, a cheap and vulgar mind-conditioning tactic.

Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda alleged several days ago that Garcia’s suspension was supported by Cebuanos according to surveys. But he did not who conducted the survey.

I can hardly wait on how Lacierda will react to the Cebu Daily News poll.
And more importantly, Think about these, people:

Garcia’s suspension is QUESTIONABLE. But Pnoy and his gang don’t give a damn and show no sign of even clarifying its legality.

For those who don’t know, under the law, the burden of proof is ON THE ACCUSER, NOT THE ACCUSED.  But in Garcia’s suspension, Pnoy and his tribe are doing the EXACT OPPOSITE.

KUNG ANO ANG GUSTO NI PNOY, YUN ANG BATAS, GANUN BA?  HINDI NA DEMOKRASYA YUN, DIKTADURYA NA! 30

STOP SENDING ;PABLO' AID THROUGH DSWD!

To those who want to donate aid to victims of Typhoon ‘Pablo’:

As much as possible, DO NOT SEND your donation through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), or to whoever is the national or local government official in charge of receiving and disbursing relief to the victims.

You have NO ASSURANCE that whatever you share will go to the victims, or even be accounted for at all.

As I had written in an earlier blog HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS, if not BILLIONS of pesos worth of typhoon relief in cash and in kind have been pouring in from all over the country and from abroad for Typhoon ‘Pablo’s” victims.

Last week alone, Canada provided an additional P40 million, raising its total aid to date to P120 million, South Korea donated P32 million more, bringing its  total relief to P40 million.

That’s a cool P160 MILLION, people. And that’s just from two countries. But consider these, boys and girls:

Ever since relief began coming in from all directions, HAVE YOU HEARD EVEN ONE DETAILED BREAKDOWN from the DSWD or any other government official on WHERE EXACTLY (as in what province, town or city and barangay) did the aid go?

Have you heard or read from anywhere exactly how many people have received relief packages, from where are they and what did these contain?

Have you ever seen pictures of hundreds or thousands of ‘Pablo’ victims getting relief packs as proof that your donation (s) went to them and not to anybody else?

Or of massive reconstruction or repair, even in one area, of homes or infrastructure destroyed or damaged by ‘Pablo?’

Has the DSWD given even one DETAILED ACCOUNTING of how have the cash donations been spent, on what and when? Has DSWD Sec. Dinky Soliman presented receipts or any other documentary proof that the money was spent for relief items and not on something else?

My answer to all these is a big NO!  Anyone can correct me if I’m wrong.

We, the public, don’t even know WHO’S HOLDING THE MONEY or where is it. And how much has been spent and how much is left.

Bottom line, there’s no reliable assurance that donations for ‘Pablo’ victims are NOT BEING STOLEN.

So if you want to help, bring it straight to the victims if you have the time and the means to do so.

If you can’t, send it through the Church, charity organizations you know and trust, like the foundations of leading media companies, Caritas Manila, Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul and the Philippine National Red Cross.

You can also try the various groups or orders of priests and nuns, like the Jesuits or the Dominicans and the Carmelite Nuns.

By all means, continue helping ‘Pablo’ victims for as long as you want.

But do it in a way in which your donation will have better chances of reaching the victims. IT’S FOR THEM, NOT FOR ANYONE ELSE’S POCKETS! 30

INDIRECT ADMISSION OF WEAK CASE VS GARCIA

Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda’s statement  that the government will let the New Year pass before taking further action against defiant  suspended Cebu  Gov. Gwen Garcia is an INDIRECT ADMISSION of the WEAK CASE against her.

Otherwise, PNoy or Interior and Local Government Sec. Mar Roxas would have ordered her forced ejection from the provincial capitol at once.

And implement what they insist as a lawful suspension order.

A professor of law at the Ateneo de Manila and the University of the Philippines agreed with me that implementation of the law or a lawful order must be done immediately, without exceptions.

If a law or a lawful order is not immediately implemented, it can only mean two things – the implementor doubts its legality or finds it too weak to stand up to court and public scrutiny.
Consider these, boys and girls:

PNoy and his spokesmen have been consistently and CATEGORICALLY asking Garcia to follow the rule of law and accept her suspension.

But Garcia has CATEGORICALLY COUNTERED that her suspension violated the Local Government Code, which states that the Office of the President must release a decision 30 days after an investigation.

The investigation into Garcia’s case ended on Aug. 31, 2011. But the decision came out ONLY last Dec. 17, or 474 days after.

Garcia said under Administrative Order 23, upon transmittal of the records of her case from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Office of the President must decide on it within 30 days.

The records were transmitted last July 26, 2012. But again, a decision came out only on Dec. 17, or 144 days later.

Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but to date, NOBODY from Malacanang has explained or countered Garcia’s defense.

As I’ve said in an earlier blog, DON’T BE SWAYED by the number of press releases and spokespersons of Malacanang. LEGALITY AND TRUTH are the real issues in the Garcia case. And not who talks more in media.30

LATEST MALA'CANANG DECEPTIONS AND CREDIT-GRABBING!

I had wanted to keep quiet this Christmas Day but the latest deceptions and credit grabbing by Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda on the supposed accomplishments of PNoy’s government are TOO INSULTING to the common sense to ignore.

In a story in journal.com.ph., Lacierda cited the passage of the Reproductive Health bill and the signing of the Bangsamoro Framework Agreement with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) as among the banner achievements of PNoy’s  Administration.

For those who don’t know, it’s the Senate and the House of Representatives which PASS ANY AND ALL BILLS.

NOT PNOY or Malacanang.

PNoy only comes in when both the Senate and the House have passed a unified and final version of a bill which he will sign into law.

So for Lacierda to claim that the passage of the RH bill is part of the PNoy administration’s accomplishments for 2012 is TOTALLY DECEPTIVE, GROSSLY UNFAIR to the senators and congressmen who worked their butts out for its passage and OUTRIGHT CREDIT-GRABBING.

The same thing with the AFP Modernization Act and the (Anti)-Enforced Disappearance Act which have been signed into law.

For the Bangsamoro Framework Agreement, LET’S NOT FORGET guys that it was just what it’s called, a FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT, and not a final pact ot treaty.

It DID NOT achieve anything. It did not instantly stop the killings in Mindanao or any other violent or illegal activity. It did not solve any major problem – legal, economic or political.

It was just an agreement on how to  go about writing a final peace pact between the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF)

Another major supposed accomplishment of PNoy’s government, according to Lacierda, is the ouster of former Chief Justice Renato Corona for judicial reforms.

Any administration has the MORAL OBLIGATION to be the role model of HONESTY AND TRUTH to us ordinary mortals. PNoy’s government is NO EXCEPTION. Lacierda and the rest of his tribe should not forget that. 30

MY CHRISTMAS WISHES FOR EVERYONE

Here are my three Christmas wishes for all my FB friends, my members in “Our Voices by Boyet Antonio,” my regular readers and to all of you wherever you are:

First: May love, caring and peace reign in your families from now on and forever.

Patch up all differences. Make the first move if necessary. It won’t hurt, emotionally or physically or psychologically.  Apologize if you have to.

MONEY MEANS NOTHING, people, if there’s NO COMPLETE HARMONY in the family. You may have what you want. But  at the end of the day when you lie down in bed and start trying to sleep, an INEXPLICABLE EMPTINESS will creep into your system.

A feeling of something’s still lacking despite everything you have. Trust me, boys and girls. I’ve been there. And I’ve seen a damned lot of it in others.

Second: Make everyday Christmas Day – give to the needy, whenever you can.

Any amount will do. It’s the thought, the spiritual fulfillment of carrying out the wishes of our Lord Jesus Christ in your own little way that counts.

Tell me we have all not forgotten these words of our Saviour: “Whatever you do to the least of my bretheren, you do unto me.”  And as the punch line from an old advertisement goes: “The life you save may be your own.”

Just a word of caution: BE SMART in giving your help.

Give it yourself if you can. If not, channel it ONLY through a nationally acknowledged and tried and tested charity organization like Caritas, the Philippine National Red Cross or foundations of media companies.

If God has given you much, much more than you need, He wants you to be an instrument in spreading his graces to others.

Third:  BE CONCERNED AND WISE with what’s happening to our country.

Taker a CLOSE LOOK at ALL THE FACTS and BOTH SIDES of an issue before passing on judgment or making your own conclusion.

NEVER, EVER BE FOOLED into believing one side simply because they come out more press releases or radio/TV interviews than the other side. Analyze the proof of both sides for yourself to determine who speaks the truth and who’s lying.

If you see a wrong, join the dissent to it in whatever way possible --- posting in the Internet or discussing the issue with as many friends as you can.
LIARS AND CORRUPT officials get away with their evil deeds because we allow them to. We hardly or don’t make enough noise to show them we’re watching. But if we will unite, we can make a mountain of a diffewrence.

My heartfelt thanks to all f you for your continued support and trust in our blog.

A truly blessed, merry and safe Christmas to one and all. All the best and LET’S NOT FORGET that Jesus Christ has arrived for us.

Following Him is the least we can do. 30

PALACE BRAINWASHING THE PEOPLE ON GARCIA CASE

Malacanang is DESPERATELY trying to BRAINWASH the people into agreeing to the LEGALITY of the suspension of Cebu Gov. Gwen Garcia.

Even though the FACTS behind the suspension tend to show it’s Malacanang which has committed an ILLEGAL ACT. DON’T BE BLINDLY FOOLED by anyone.

Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda and Budget Sec. Butch Abad have been repeatedly ABUSING the phrase RULE OF LAW in asking Garcia to honor her suspension.

But both guys have NOT, or should I say REFUSED to comment on Garcia’s DETAILED defense that her suspension was ILLEGAL.

Garcia has CATEGORICALLY COUNTERED that her suspension violated the Local Government Code, which states that the Office of the President must release a decision 30 days after an investigation.

For those who missed it in the news, the investigation into Garcia’s case ended on Aug. 31, 2011. But the decision came out ONLY last Dec. 17, or 474 days after.

Garcia had also pointed out under Administrative Order 23, upon transmittal of the records of her case from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Office of the President must decide on it within 30 days.

The records were transmitted from the office of the late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo last July 26, 2012. But again, a decision came out only on Dec. 17, or 144 days later.

Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but NOBODY from Malacanang has explained or countered these SPECIFIC allegations of Garcia.

All that they’re DESPERATELY trying to BURY INTO THE PUBLIC MIND is Garcia should follow the rule of law by accepting her suspension. As if it’s perfectly legal.

Even if the FACTS pointed out by Garcia, which they CAN’T DISPUTE up to now, CLEARLY SHOW they are the ones WHO HAD NOT FOLLOWED the rule of law.

In his PATHETIC and AMATEURISH defense of Garcia’s suspension, Lacierda had the nerve to say that her case was investigated before a final decision was issued by the Office of the President.

Despite the CRYSTAL-CLEAR provisions of the Local Government Code and Administrative on the DEADLINE which they miserably, if not DELIBERATELY, failed to follow in deciding on the suspension of Garcia.

I’m not for anybody in this issue, As I’ve stated in our preceding blog, I am for the TRUTH and FAIR PLAY.

CONSIDER THE FACTS, FIRST, before you believe in government press statements. I repeat, whatever anyone from Malacanang says IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY the truth, the legal or the moral. 30

STILL NO ASSURANCE 'PABLO' AIID NOT BEING STOLEN!

Here’s something very, very alarming that we all should not overlook:

Millions and millions of aid, both in cash and in kind, continue to pour in for victims of typhoon ‘Pablo.’

But up to now, NOBODY in government has bared a PUBLIC ACCOUNTING to assure both the victims and we, the general public, that the money IS NOT BEING STOLEN by anyone who has access to it.

Nobody knows HOW MUCH MONEY has been donated to date, WHO’S IN CHARGE of disbursing it, HOW MUCH HAS BEEN SPENT AND ON WHAT, HOW MUCH IS LEFT and where is it.

Not even a partial breakdown has been publicly released by the government so far on where the monetary donations have gone to. No documentary proof whatsoever for possible verification by interested parties.

Nobody knows exactly how many victims have received aid -- from where are they, what did they receive, when and from whom.

THE ONLY BASIS we hear or get from the government is whatever they say.

No names of beneficiaries, no amounts or kinds of aid, no SPECIFIC dates and places, no receipts or DOCUMENTARY PROOF of expenditures or disbursements, NO NOTHING As  in NONE.

In case you missed it in the news several days ago, China has donated an additional P8 million for “Pablo’ victims. The Armed Forces of the Philippines turned over a additional P19 million plus from their own donations and savings, as well as  aid donated through their efforts.

Those two amounts ALONE TOTAL P27 MILLION, more than enough to build and furnish a 4-bedroom house in a Class-B village and buy two brand new cars worth more than P1 million each.

But ONLY A SELECT FEW knows the REAL SCORE about these monies.

And there’s no indication they’d share the information  soon, not even to ‘Pablo’ victims. 30
